"Kids from Above" Summer Photo Shoot Wrap-Up

Kevin Moore, CEF Contributor Another big London shoot happened over the past weekend involving 40 more children and a smaller production crew than the Capital City shoot that we did a couple weeks ago.   The 'Kids from Above' photo shoot took place in the massive Malcolm Ryan Studios in Wimbledon, which is more typically used for large scale automobile shoots. We certainly needed the space though, as we had the children spelling out letters and symbols on the floor while our photographer Jasper White spent the day in the rafters with a megaphone and a camera!

The day progressed smoothly with the kids working very professionally. They are all members of Europe's largest children's and young performer's agency: The Stagecoach Agency and are used to working together under pressure. It was great to see such a large group of kids working together for a charitable cause.

While Jasper spent the day shooting from above, Russell Duncan captured fun portraits of all the children. Although the images may look simple, this type of shoot requires a lot of advance planning and is quite difficult to put together on a limited budget. Ultimately we were able to shoot the children forming the entire alphabet, plus a variety of symbols and other great images that will surely result in more sales from the CEF Getty collection. It's been a fantastic year for CEF in London!
